Sundials can be etched into brass and the fine etched lines filled with colour if required. I keep two designs of brass sundial in stock; the East-West (see below) and the miniature East-West. Other designs can be individually commissioned.

An impressive 14” (355mm) diameter etched brass sundial disk and cast base.
An unusual and striking garden ornament and accurate timepiece, this sundial tells the time and date. It has a finely-etched chrysanthemum decoration. The etched detail can be coloured with up to three different colours of your choice.

One side of the disk faces East and tells the time in the morning, the other side faces West and tells the time after noon. It can be used anywhere in the UK, Europe, Asia, North America and North Africa between latitudes 25° and 65° North.
Easy to assemble, four parts screw together with one screwdriver. Full instructions, screws and screwdriver provided.
A personalised motto or dedication may be etched round the rim of the base for £100.
